Learn electric Learn and know how the electrician profession is integrated on a systematic basis, and rules and foundations that must be observed. Electricity is a science, not just a craft

In the coming lines, we will explain the basics of electricity, using a reference belonging to my father, in his handwriting, may God have mercy on him, since 1987, whom I consider to be my practical and professional role model, may God have mercy on him and forgive him.

May Allah's blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad and his family and all his companions.

Electricity profession: learn electrician

The following pictures in this article belong to “A book and reference for the basics of electricity handwritten by (Mohamed Salem).

This professional book taught me reading before I became aware of understanding the science of electricity.”

I ask you to pray for mercy and forgiveness for him and good gardens for his good and good work

Electricity profession learn electric

The electrician profession is one of the professions that needs in particular extreme accuracy and proper behavior. Before the worker becomes a skilled electrician, he must learn the methods of carrying out all the main operations that are included in this profession, and not a job. Such as: - Specialized electrical works in accordance with the objectives of the Electricity Division, with vocational qualification and training curricula. Read more

Safety and prevention measures:

To prevent accidents and dangers resulting from electricity, the following should be taken into account:

- Prohibition when using tools and tools, and using them in a correct manner, to ensure connection according to the drawing included in the measurement, in order to prevent the occurrence of a short circuit in the electric current. Ask us

- Make sure that the wire is well grounded to the connections inside the junction boxes.

- Make sure the connections inside the housings are insulated

Wear leather gloves while working on all electrical circuits.

Electrical circuits shall only be connected by a technician.

Electrical wires and connectors

Many types of insulated wires are used in electrical connections, and each type is used according to the required purpose, taking into account the load, and the voltage based on the size and diameter of the wire.

Electrical conductors: It is a connection from one end of a wire to a group of insulated copper wires. It is used to connect the electric current to facilities and homes, and is installed inside the pipes, and from it is a gauge because it is braided with a layer of rubber and cotton threads, impregnated with colored wax, to withstand the voltage and pressure to carry the wire. Two conductors, or three ends, a copper wire insulated with a layer of plastic.

Connector:

The connector consists of a group of insulated copper filaments, with rubber, and it is used to connect and connect the connectors of the lamps, the breakers associated with the lamps, and the small, mobile lamps with the covering of the household appliances and the lighting systems.

So the wires and connections, they are a group of filaments of rubber insulated copper, with threads of cotton, and all inside a braid, used to connect (irons - heaters - motors - devices with loads of current pressure that have a high voltage.

There is also a conductor made of a group of thin wires, with a diameter of 1 mm, galvanized copper with plastic to insulate the current for the external source, insulated with colored or transparent plastic, two connectors, braided in appearance, and it is a flexible wire used in mobile installations, such as blinds, and devices with low current pressure load .

The number used for peeling, cutting, and measuring wire

* A micrometer:

A micrometer is an accurate device used to measure the diameter of a wire, in millimeters, and it reads from

100mm max size

What is electricity:

Electricity is electrons that flow through conductors at a certain cross sectional area per second.

Types of electric currents - learn electric

There are two types of electric currents:

1) DC: The source of dry-liquid batteries, and its symbol (+) is positive.

2) Variable current: Exporting variable current generators, which is used for lighting installations and homes.

- Meaning of electrical circuit: - Each group of wires connected to two sources of electric current, and is called the electrical circuit.

Terms and composition of the electrical circuit:

1) Pressure: It is the electromotive force at the ends of the circuit, and its unit is volt, and it is symbolized by (V).

2) Intensity: It is the rate of flow of electric current in a circuit and its unit is the ampere, and it is symbolized by (A).

3) Resistance: It is concerned with the material that is resistant to the passage of electric current, and its unit of measurement is (M).

4) Frequency: It is measured by oscillation the amount of difference between the electric current from positive (+) to negative (-).

5) Capacity: It is the calculation of the amount of current consumption per hour and is measured in kilometers. Learn more

The relationship between current, pressure, and resistance

* Current law = pressure / resistance 2 u = z / m

Example: Calculate the current intensity in an electric circuit with a pressure of 220 volts and a resistance of 20 ohms.

Solution: u = z / m 220 ÷ 20 = 11 amps

In the previous example, we find the relationship between current, pressure, and resistance.

As for the relationship between watts, volts, and amperes, follow:

Watt = Volt ⅹ Ampere (V ⅹ A)

Example: Calculate the diameter of the wire needed to be fed by an electric circuit 220 volts to 6 kilowatts

Solution: 6000 ÷ 200 = the cross-sectional area of the wire is 3.5 mm

The following table shows how to calculate the wire section in millimeters by the maximum current in ampere  Ask us
